Leela Ravi Shankar Dhulipalla, born on November 14, 1978 in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Right from his childhood, Ravi always carried the passion to learn and pass on his learnings with others around him. He was blessed with the talent to learning on his own, think and identifies solutions to questions that he encountered in his personal and professional life.
A habit became his passion and gave birth to his company, “Venlee”.
Ravi studied B.Sc. in Computer Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India (1998) and achieved Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, India (2017-18). During his progressive work span, he successfully completed some of the elite certification programs and created a niche for him by being the second person in the world to achieve COBIT certified Assessor designation from ISACA and likewise, few more to quote.
As a senior IT executive, CGEIT, COBIT2019, IAITAM & COBIT5 Accredited Trainer, COBIT Certified Assessor and Certified IT Asset Manager, Ravi is a recognized global expert in IT operational improvement, application design and delivery, and IT governance framework development/maintenance — besides host of other valued service offerings that he delivers.
On completing his B.Sc., Ravi started his colorful career as a programmer and later donned multiple hats as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Systems Analyst, Project Leader, Senior ITS Manager, IT Process/GRC Governor, Consultant and as a Trainer. His association with some of the world’s famous organizations such as, “P&G” (client of Indosoft International Ltd.), “GE” (client of R Systems International Ltd.), “MasterCard”, “Bank of America” and “First Abu Dhabi Bank” over a period of 20+ years exposed him to multiple challenging assignments and he took all of them head on with his rich functional and business expertise. Ravi led multiple programs, projects as an IT Governance/Management, Risk and Compliance Consultant and was directly involved in oversight of offshore requirements analysis, application design, development and testing of critical and high demanding applications in complex and fast paced environments. His rich experience in formulating IT Governance/Management strategies and Program Management coupled with natural flair for learning and imparting — enabled him to create high performing teams and individuals. He has multiple achievements / recognitions to his credit and some of the highlights are:first in the world to achieve COBIT 2019 Bridge and Implementation Trainer license from APMG, first in Central Asia-Middle East to achieve IAITAM qualifications Trainer license from APMG, first in the world to achieve COBIT 5 Assessor Trainer license from APMG, second in the world to achieve COBIT Certified Assessor designation from ISACA in addition to TOGAF, PMP, Accredited Trainer for CGEIT, COBIT2019, COBIT5 Foundation/Implementation/Assessor certification courses and a significant number of transformed teams / individuals in large scale set up across boundaries.
He had many opportunities to travel to various countries like – UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Portugal, Germany & Norway for delivering training and other business needs. He created a significant impact in all his sessions at all the places that he’d conducted and continues to provide his expert advice to various leaders / groups that approach him.
With so many accolades and achievements on his stride, Ravi was ready to live his passion—that of being a Consultant, Mentor and Trainer. With his family, friends and students support, he ventured in to the area of Learning and Consulting with a focus on creating a world class learning experience w.r.t IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, in his own way. And to him, one needs to always take a calculated risk, which is testified in his actions. He decided to move on to live his dream while others in similar situation would have liked to continue with the good position and handsome pay package. His entrepreneurial abilities are being equally appreciated just like his learning and program management skills and are on path to strong! Wherever he travelled, he mesmerized people with his positive attitude and a pleasant personality that he always carries.
Ravi has been an avid trainer & keynote speaker and conducted multiple training workshops across different countries / continents. He touched close to 600 trainees and has a terrific success rate. His approach is simple, but well thought out and most importantly apt to the business. He has the unique advantage of being able to conduct training workshops for all professionals across all levels of the organization. His style of quoting real life examples and making the sessions highly interactive attracts everyone to his sessions.
